Tournament Seeding
The individual Group Coordinators determine the seeding for their groups. The following criteria are used, in descending order of importance:

1)  The first "rough cut" ranking of players is done using the percentage of wins during the regular season. This provides a general idea of how the players rank. Group Coordinators will largely discount losses to opponents in higher rated groups and wins against opponents in lower rated groups.

2)  Results of head-to-head competition can resolve seeding conflicts between players who have similar win percentage records.

3)  Results of matches played against common opponents can be used to determine which player is stronger.

4)  Historical data and the opinion of the group coordinator of the relative strengths of the players may be used where other criteria are inconclusive.
